Preclearance, and Electronic Screening (E-Screening), are essential elements of comprehensive commercial vehicle weight management programs. These programs reward commercial vehicles with a history of compliance with regulations while also ensuring that all commercial vehicles are checked for weight violations. Resources are better utilized and infrastructure is protected from damage caused by overweight trucks.
