Ramp E-Screening Systems
IRD’s Ramp Electronic Screening (E-Screening) systems screen commercial vehicles on the entrance ramp to a weight enforcement station.
Vehicles are screened and tracked as they pass over the Sorter System sensors. Vehicles that are potentially in violation of regulations and credentials will be signaled to report for inspection; vehicles that are in compliance will be signaled to bypass the station.
- Slower-speed truck weighing results in higher accuracy
- Allows the operator to view all trucks
- Service and Maintenance can be performed when the station is closed
